Pistols are lightweight and compact close-quarters weapons. Despite their limited effective range and modest armor penetration, a pistol can prove indispensable in emergency situations.

Submachine guns combine compact size, high rate of fire, and minimal recoil. Thanks to these qualities, they are ideal for urban environments, room clearing, and close-quarters combat. Their high mobility and controllability also make them a reliable choice for self-defense in tight spaces.

Personal defense weapons are compact automatic firearms originally developed for vehicle crews and support personnel. They fire intermediate or specialized high-velocity rounds, delivering stopping power comparable to full-size rifles in a much smaller package. However, this compactness often comes at the cost of higher recoil.

Assault rifles are versatile, general-purpose firearms. With balanced damage, rate of fire, accuracy, and recoil, they form the backbone of most modern armies. Effective at both short and medium ranges, assault rifles provide consistent performance and reliability across a wide range of combat situations.

Light machine guns are designed for suppressing the enemy and delivering sustained fire using magazine feeding. They offer greater firepower than assault rifles while still retaining a degree of mobility. In contrast, general-purpose machine guns are belt-fed, chambered in full-power calibers (typically 7.62mm or higher), and intended for continuous fire to suppress enemy positions at medium to long distances.

Shotguns are weapons of ultimate power in close combat. Thanks to their high stopping power, shotguns are particularly effective in confined spaces and during sudden encounters.

Sniper rifles include both semi-automatic designated marksman rifles (DMRs), designed to support the squad at medium and long ranges, and bolt-action rifles, ideal for eliminating high-value targets from a distance — especially when paired with proper optics and a prepared firing position.
